Many tend to misunderstand the hand of God and how He moves and operates upon the earth. Many that believe on Him, continue to live in condemnation and untruth. This lack of wisdom comes from relying on second-hand accounts of the Word of God instead of diving into the Word first-hand.
The scriptures states that all that believe in Jesus will be Born Again and freely given everlasting life. The scripture also tells us that Jesus died for the world’s sins and that ALL that believe in Him will be adopted into his family and will have the honor of taking part in this covenant of a sin-free, guilt-free life. Our sins are already paid for, my friend (John 3:1-21 NKJV).
You may be wondering if you could DO something so bad that God will take eternal life away from you, and the answer is NO. Instead, when we’ve accepted Christ into our lives and we are not living according to His Word and purpose, He will correct us, here on earth, just as a loving father would correct his children that are disobedient. Correction comes in many forms. It is up to God how He corrects, shapes, and molds us into His likeness. (Proverbs 13:24 NKJV, Hebrews 12:7-11 MSG).
Today is the day that we will stop condemning ourselves and others for the things that we know are not acceptable to God, and we know it is unacceptable to God, because it is written in the Holy Scriptures. God is the Almighty Judge and our day will come when we will have to report to Him on what we have SPOKEN (Matthew 12:30-40 MSG). Your words display the true nature of your heart and tells the world whether God resides there or not.
Take a deep introspect into oneself today. On the day of judgement, will God say, “I never knew you, because your ways became higher than My ways” or will He welcome you into his loving arms?
On this Resurrection Sunday, praise God for His sacrifice, let go of condemnation, read the Word of God, and continue to grow in His likeness.
