Read: Romans 12:2
Have you ever heard of the saying, “You need to get out of your own way”? Sometimes we as people tend to place unwanted obstacles in our way because we are trying to do things in our own strength instead of listening for the prompting of the Holy Spirit to lead us over our hurdles and through our “wilderness” experience. More often than we think, the hurdles we experience reside in our minds and are in no way our reality, unless we make it our reality.
Recently, I heard a message about how we can look at any situation in various ways. Any and all situations can have both a positive and negative outlook, but it is up to us to consciously change our mindset to harbor the positive.
Let us look at the example of water. Water can have the potential to cause a drowning, but on the other hand, water has the potential to garner energy and light a city. How will you look at your situation today? As having the potential to drown you or as having the potential to propel you towards the greater God has for you?
Make the decision today to start swimming above the lies the enemy has implanted in your mind and start moving in a positive direction, gaining energy and momentum to garner a brighter future!
Here are some questions that will allow you to coach yourself into greatness!

- If you were going to sabotage yourself, how would you do it?
- What 3 things can you do to support yourself and make sure this action step gets done?
