“For the gifts and the callings of God are irrevocable.” Romans 11:29 (NKJV)
Do you ever wonder why so many people are unhappy on their jobs? It’s because they are not operating in gift mode. Instead, they are operating under routine and procedure. Routine and procedure is fine to some extent, but when you begin to use your gifts to modify, implement, and turnover procedure to fashion new routines that create positive change – your gifts are being used, honed, and magnified for the greater good.
You can’t trade your gift in – it’s yours to keep. Hidden in your gift is your life’s purpose. Don’t look to the left or to the right to figure out who you are. Look within yourself. Embrace you and what you have to offer to the world.
Let’s Pray – Lord we thank you for our gifts. We thank you that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We are unique and we have been called to this earth for a specific purpose. Father I ask that you will continually remind us that our gift is our gift, and that we were not called to walk in our co-worker’s gift nor our neighbor’s gift, but you have called us for a unique and divine purpose.
