“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path “(Psalms 119:105). -NKJV
Decisions – we all have to make them sometimes, but there are times when making a decision for our life is not an easy one. God gives his children his word that we must read to gain wisdom. This wisdom that we glean from the word of God will produce discernment, which in turn will be vital to helping us navigate those difficult decisions.
As we began to move in the direction we feel is best, God will either give us the go ahead by opening doors and allowing our spirits to feel settled in the decision. If doors began to close or our spirit feels that something is not right, that is the Holy Spirit beckoning us to back-up and take another course of action.
The key to getting through this tough time is to continually pray, mediate on the word of God and ask God for direction. He will not steer you wrong, but illuminate that which is hidden from you.
Let’s Pray – Thank you Lord that your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Today I pray for wisdom as I navigate this difficult decision. Allow me to take the path that will honor you and steer my life in the right direction. Amen.
