It’s been more than a week since we last met and to me this is unacceptable. When I set out on this venture I knew that it was something that I was called to do, and something that I wanted to do. I love learning sound principles for winning in life and gaining new insight to God’s word, and so I want to share what I learn with others to encourage them to continue moving forward in the plans that God has shaped for their life.
In order for me to achieve this goal, I must be organized, prepared and consistent. No matter what life throws my way, I must be prepared to do the work that I have been called to do. No excuses, period.
So, I pray that you will continue on this journey with me! As we move into the month of October, I decided to grab some new books from my local library to keep me inspired and moving in the direction in which God is calling me. I encourage you to do the same. This month I picked up Living Rich for Less by Ellie Kay. This is a simple guide to keeping more of your money in your pocket without sacrificing living life to the fullest. Also, I couldn’t resist picking up One Thousand Gifts, a New York Times Best Seller and the author Ann Voskamp is one of Christianity Today’s “50 Women to Watch.” I also chose Secrets of a Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker and The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy.
As I close, we must not forget two powerful truths, “consistency over time equals success” and “preparation can be the difference between an opportunity seized or lost.” Don’t be that guy or girl who is looking for more out of life, but fails to perfect your pitch or elevator speech, runs out of business cards, fails to create a website for your business, doesn’t keep your resume updated, or sends manuscripts to agents and major publishers without creating a platform, and the list could just go on and on, but you get my drift.
Happy Success! And I will see you here on Monday with lots of love.
